Development of the \"tirta\" story book on water cycle materials to improve science literacy of grade iv elementary school students / FITRIA KUSHERAWATI
Abstrak
This research aims to develop learning media in the form of a story book TIRTA on water cycle materials that are valid practical interesting and quite effective in improving the science literacy of grade IV elementary school students. The type of research used is research and development using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages namely analysis design development implementation and evaluation. The instruments used include material and media expert validation sheets practicality and attractiveness questionnaires and pretest and posttest questions. The research subjects involved material experts media experts teachers and 24 grade IV students from two elementary schools in Tulungagung Regency. The validation results showed that the story book TIRTA obtained an average validation score of 98% and was categorized as very valid. The practicality and attractiveness test obtained an average score of 96% which indicates that the media is in the category of very practical and very interesting. The effectiveness test using the N-Gain score showed an average increase of 0.74 which is included in the high category with an effectiveness interpretation of 74% which is included in the category of quite effective. Based on these results the story book TIRTA was declared to be very valid very practical very interesting and quite effective in improving students science literacy in water cycle materials.
