The influence of digital skills, social capital on digital communication skills through compassion skills / MOHAMMAD ASRYET ARLINSYAH

Abstrak
In today s rapidly developing technological era the way of communication has undergone a significant transformation where communication that was previously only carried out directly has now developed into digital communication that utilizes various platforms and technologies to facilitate the exchange of information quickly and efficiently therefore students are required to improve their digital communication skills. This study intends to identify the influence of digital skills and social capital on digital communication skills mediated by compassion skills. This study chose a quantitative approach that functions to collect data primarily in the form of a questionnaire distributed with google form media to 140 students majoring in Online Business and Marketing at SMK Negeri 1 Turen using a proportional random sampling technique using data analysis with SEMSmartPLS media. The respondents of this study are students of Online Business and Marketing in grades XI and XII. This study proves that digital skills and social capital have a direct influence on digital communication skills in addition it was also found that digital skills have a positive but not significant effect on Digital Communication Skills through Compassion Skills
