The use of digital picture storybooks to improve 10th grade students\' skills in writing narrative texts / Andrea Rio Hendrawan
Abstrak
This study was conducted to determine whether there was a significant difference in the use of digital picture storybooks to improve students skills in writing narrative text. This study applied a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test. The subjects of the research were 32 students of class X MIA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Ngantang. The data were collected from pre-test and post-test. The data were analyzed using t-Test and descriptivestatisticsusingSPSS25application.Theresults showed that the t-Test was 0.000 (0.000 lt 0.050) which means that there was a significant difference in students writing skills before and after being given treatment. The use of digital picture storybooks increased students rsquo mean score from 52.19 to 75.88. Accordingly it is recommended to the teachers to use the digital picture storybooks for learning activities since it has increased students rsquo skills in writing narrative texts.
