Development of group guidance guidelines with humorous snakes and ladders game techniques to reduce academic stress in vocational high school students / Galuh Ayu Pramudita

Abstrak
One of the problems frequently faced by vocational high school students is the high level of academic stress due to learning demands assignment burdens and school environmental pressures. Unmanaged academic stress can impact students motivation learning concentration and psychological well-being. In this regard guidance and counseling services play a crucial role in helping students recognize and manage stress through an effective and enjoyable approach. This study aims to produce a product in the form of a group guidance guide using the snakes and ladders game technique containing humorous elements to reduce academic stress in vocational high school students. The integration of humorous elements in educational games such as snakes and ladders is one of the innovations in this study in order to provide an alternative guidance service that is more attractive interactive and applicable for guidance and counseling teachers in implementing group guidance services. This research is a developmental study using the ADDIE model as its main design consisting of five systematic stages analysis design development implementation and evaluation. The development process begins with designing and compiling a product in the form of game media and a comprehensive group guidance guide based on the stages in the ADDIE model. A product is deemed feasible if it meets the acceptance criteria which include aspects of accuracy usability ease of use and attractiveness. Validation of feasibility is carried out through expert testing namely testing by guidance and counseling material experts testing by learning media experts and testing by prospective users namely guidance and counseling teachers. To test the effectiveness of the product a trial was conducted on 10th-grade students at SMK Negeri 13 Malang. Data collected included quantitative and qualitative data with numerical analysis based on the results of expert assessments and statistical testing using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test to determine the significance of differences before and after the intervention was administered to the research subjects. The results of the study indicate that the developed product has met the acceptance criteria namely appropriate easy to use attractive and useful for implementation by Guidance and Counseling teachers in schools. The assessment conducted by two guidance and counseling material experts obtained a score of 1.00 with a very good category as well as the results of the assessment by two learning media experts which also showed a score of 1.00. The test of prospective product users in this case Guidance and Counseling teachers also obtained a score of 1.00 with a very good qualification. Overall the results of the expert test stated that the product is classified as very feasible and can be implemented in group guidance services. In addition the results of the effectiveness test also showed a difference in scores in the measured aspects namely academic stress which was proven through a comparison of the pretest and posttest results which showed a reduction in the level of academic stress of students. The suggestions for further development are (1) This product can still be improved so it is recommended to carry out further development for wider use and (2) Guidance and Counseling teachers are advised to use this guide as an alternative service that is fun and effective and to adjust its implementation to the conditions of students and schools.
