Internalization of values in the tradition of weton calculation at weddings as a model of community character education in the mountainside area of kelud regency / Serinda Nurma Ayu Indraswari
Abstrak
The researcher wrote a study entitled Internalization of Values in the Tradition of Weton Calculation in Marriage as a Model of Community Character Education in the Kelud Gunung Area Kediri Regency because it is based on several backgrounds that are in accordance with the urgency in the community namely related to the compliance of the people of the Gunung Kelut area Kediri Regency in the tradition of calculating weton at marriage. This tradition is carried out by the community as a form of obedience to ancestral heritage kinship to others and faith in God Almighty because it contains good hope so it is important to internalize the process to the next generation and is relevant to be carried out as a model of character education that will channel noble values in society. The method used is a qualitative approach with a type of phenomenology through in-depth observation and interviews. The results of the study show that the character education model is manifested from the process of internalizing the traditional values of weton calculation in marriage in the people of the Slopes of Mount Kemud Kediri Regency so that it can form a continuous generation with good character and can internalize the existence of tradition and practice its noble values in a sustainable manner. The conclusion of this study reveals that the tradition of counting weton at weddings in the Gunung Kelut Slope area Kediri Regency is not only a determination of a good day in marriage but also full of values such as obedience kinship trust aesthetics and economy. Internalization is carried out by the community through various social and educational methods that form a good community character such as respect mutual cooperation and discipline This study uses a descriptive quantitative method which is carried out by taking data in the form of observations questionnaires and documentation which is then analyzed using hypothesis tests after data instrument tests in the form of validation tests and reliability tests. Based on the questionnaire of variables X and Y an average of 84% with the category Very Effective on variable X and 89% with the category Very Effective on variable Y. This means that the majority of students give a positive response to monopoly game media with an invention learning model and monopoly game media to foster students character education. Therefore respondents feel that monopoly game media with monopoly game media to foster student character education can be said to be able to operate well in the classroom.
