ABSTRACK Fatimah Vonny. 2025. Development of Expressive Writing Narrative Counseling Guide Containing Revelation Systematic Values to Improve Assertive Behavior of Boarding School Students. Thesis. Keywords narrative counseling expressive writing values of revelation systematics assertive behavior The development of communication and interaction between students is now increasingly dynamic and complex so it requires the ability to convey what is thought felt and expected. Students need the ability to interact with their social environment but in fact based on the results of a survey at one of the boarding schools in Malang it is known that 80% of students have a low category to very low assertive communication. Feelings of fear and anxiety are also accompanied by physiological symptoms such as abdominal pain headaches and feeling tired accompany the student s condition. The purpose of the research is to produce an expressive writing narrative counseling guide containing the values of revelation systematics to improve the behavior of boarding school students that are accepted in theory and practice from the aspects of usefulness accuracy convenience and attractiveness. The research method uses the Borg and Gall (1983) development method which was carried out at Ar-Rohmah Putri 1 boarding school Malang. The stages in this method are (1) Research and Information Collecting (2) Planning (3) Preliminary Form of Product (4) Prelimary Field Testing (5) Main Product Revision (6) Main Field Testing (7) Operational Product Revision (8) Operational Field Testing (9) Final Product Revision (10) Dissemination and Implementation. The data collection technique used an assertive behavior scale loaded with revelation systematic values with a validity of 0.00 and Cronbach s alpha reliability value of 0.869 with the conclusion that this instrument is valid and reliable. The data analysis technique used the paired t test and the cohen s d analysis and the expert agreement test using Aiken s v. The results of the paired sample test showed that the value of sig (2-tailed) was 0.034 and the results of Cohen s analysis d were known to be 1.27 which means that narrative counseling interventions have a great influence on students so that they can increase their assertive behavior. The results of the expert agreement test using the Aiken s formula v were counseling experts 0.85 interpretation experts 0.80 and media experts 0.98 all of which had validity values in the high category. Based on the results of the analysis the expressive writing narrative counseling guidebook contains the values of revelation systematics has material feasibility reviewed from its accuracy usefulness
