Development of a classical engineering guidance strategy of educational cinema about the story of the mask of Malangan strengthening assertive behavior of junior high school students / Ista Yuliarti
Abstrak
Junior high school students often have difficulty expressing themselves assertively which can affect their social interactions and personality development. One approach that can be used to improve students assertiveness is through educational cinema techniques based on the story of Topeng Malangan in classical guidance. This technique combines local cultural elements with visual-based learning methods to help students understand and emulate assertive behavior more effectively. This study aims to develop a classical guidance strategy for educational cinema techniques based on the story of Topeng Malangan which can strengthen the assertive attitude of junior high school students. The development was carried out through a research and development (R amp D) model with an ADDIE design that includes five main stages analysis design development implementation and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of material experts media experts cultural experts and prospective users (BK teachers) with limited trials on junior high school students. With data analysis techniques using non-parametric statistical tests using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test analysis method The results of the study indicate that this educational cinema-based classical guidance guide meets high eligibility criteria based on aspects of acceptability such as accuracy usefulness attractiveness and ease of use. The results of the effectiveness test indicate that this technique is able to significantly improve students assertiveness compared to conventional methods.However this study has limitations such as the limited scope of subjects and the absence of testing on a wider scale. Therefore recommendations for further research are to expand the trial with a larger sample size and develop more varied educational cinema materials to suit various student backgrounds. Based on the results obtained several recommendations that can be made by subsequent researchers and school counselors include Counselors should use classical guidance based on the educational cinema Topeng Malangan to improve students assertiveness. Further researchers are advised to conduct effectiveness tests in a wider scope so that the results obtained are more representative. The development of educational cinema materials needs to be adjusted to the various cultural backgrounds of students to be more relevant and applicable. With these findings it is hoped that classical guidance based on educational cinema can be a more innovative and effective method in improving students social skills especially in the aspect of assertiveness
