Pengaruh resiliensi terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis dengan dukungan sosial sebagai moderator pada remaja putus sekolah / Naila Putri Dita Auliya

Abstrak
Education is one of the important factors that can affect a person s psychological well-being. But in fact not everyone has obtained and carried out formal education as they should. There are still many people of school age who have dropped out of school. Dropping out of school is a risky behavior that threatens an individual s psychological well-being. Individual psychological well-being can be influenced by resilience factors. This makes individuals able to live life with a positive attitude despite experiencing difficult times such as those experienced by individuals after dropping out of school. Those who drop out of school need social support to help them get up and be able to overcome problems and have psychological well-being. This study aims to (1) testing the role of social support as a moderator in the influence of resilience on psychological well-being in adolescent dropouts (2) testing the effect of resilience on psychological well-being in adolescent dropouts (3) testing the effect of social support on psychological well-being in adolescent dropouts. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational research type. The population of this study were adolescent dropouts who were attending equivalency education programs at the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) in Malang City. The sample of this study were adolescent dropouts aged 10-19 years who were attending the equivalency program at PKBM in Malang City. The sampling technique used multistage sampling which resulted in a sample of 348 people which produced a sample of 348 people from ten PKBMs in four subdistricts in Malang City. Data were collected through Ryff s Psychological Well-being Scale (RPWBS) to measure psychological well-being Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) to measure resilience and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) to measure social support. Each scale of the three variables was analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) to determine validity and reliability. CFA tests were conducted with convergent validity and discriminant validity tests. The results of the convergent validity test on the psychological well-being scale items the resilience scale and the social support scale state that there are 48 of the 79 items that have a loading factor ge 0.50 and AVE value ge 0.50. The discriminant validity test results state that the items of each scale have a root AVE value greater than the correlation between each other item so that all items are declared valid in measuring dimensions. The construct reliability test in this study uses the Composite Reliability (CR) and. The results of the construct reliability test state that all items from the psychological well-being resilience and social support variables have a CR value ge 0.70. So that all items are declared reliable in measuring dimensions. Data analysis techniques in this study were carried out using structural equation modeling (SEM) consisting of measurement model tests and structural model tests. The measurement model test results state that all constructs both resilience social support and psychological well-being are measured in the existing dimensions indicated by the loading factor worth gt 0.50. The goodness of fit index in the CFA model has been fulfilled with chi-square 239.778 (p lt 0.5) RMSEA 0.080 ( le 0.080) GFI 0.905 ( gt 0.90) CFI 951 ( gt 0.90) and TLI 0.940 ( gt 0.90). The discriminant validity test results state that each variable measured by each dimension produces a root AVE greater than the correlation results between variables. Therefore each dimension that measures each variable is declared valid in measuring each variable. The results of the structural model test state that (1) the interaction between resilience and social support (moderating effect) has a significant effect on psychological well-being with a CR value of 3.244 ( gt 1.96) and a p value of 0.001 (p lt 0.05) (2) the resilience variable has no significant effect on psychological well-being with a CR value of 1.207 ( lt 1.96) and a p value of 0.227 (p gt 0.05) and (3) social support variables have a significant effect on psychological well-being with a CR value of 2.775 ( gt 1.96) and a p value of 0.006 (p lt 0.05). The results showed that social support acts as a moderator that strengthens the influence of resilience on psychological well-being in adolescent dropouts. In other words individual adolescent dropouts who have a high level of resilience will be better able to improve their psychological well-being when they also get strong social support.
