Abstrak
The rapidly development of biotechnology would make better life. Biotechnology consist of two sections i.e. simple biotechnology and modern biotechnology. The application of practical biotechnology usually done as a topic at biotechnology study is practical simple biotechnology. Changing a substance to another using microorganism is a simple biotechnology for example tempe fermentation technology that change soybeans proteins to amino acid using mold microorganism especially Rhizopus sp. and Mucor sp. Fermentation technology can be applied in Biology study as a practical scientific work. Student can producing tempe to learn fermentation technology this laboratory work can be integrated with proofing proteins content on tempe and identifications fungus that present on tempe so that student can get full topic. This research have purpose to know what is unification between producing tempe proofing proteins content on tempe and identifications fungus that present on tempe as a scientific work can be grow students scientific attitude. With Classroom Action Research (CAR) as research plan so this research use action hypothesis that is unification between producing tempe proofing proteins content on tempe and identifications fungus that present on tempe as a scientific work can be grow students scientific attitude. This research starts at May 2007 until June 2007 at SMAN 1 Ponggok Blitar with XE class that has 37 students as research subject. Result from this research include scientific attitude learn process and learn result. Scientific attitude get from attitude scale that fill by students learn process get from laboratory work activity and class discussion activity and learn result get from examination. We know that students scientific attitude have high level that rsquo s known from attitude scale percentage analysis show three level they are very good good and medium. Then correlate analysis between scientific attitude and learn result shown that before learn process used as control correlate coefficient is 0 2383 after learn result used as control correlate coefficient is 0 1956. That is indicating between scientific attitude and learn result have correlated although in low level correlate. From analysis result and discussion we can get two conclusion (1) unification between producing tempe proofing proteins content on tempe and identifications fungus that present on tempe as a scientific work can be grow students scientific attitude and (2) there are have positive correlate between scientific attitude and learn result although in low level correlate. Then from this research we can give some suggestion (1) when laboratory work used in Biology education instrument must prepared carefully in order to get good result (2) student doing laboratory work should be in small groups in order to each student can be active to do not just rely on the other students in that rsquo s group (3) for teacher as educator should be evaluate psychomotor and affective not just cognitive (4) for further researcher should be doing research for some topic in order to get good result (5) in this research scientific attitude and learn result have low level correlate for further researcher should be correctly for data analysis and better prepare for research instrument.
