Meningkatkan hasil belajar pengukuran waktu dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada siswa kelas V SDN Ngetos III Kabupaten Nganjuk / Dewi Andriyani
Abstrak
Keywords learning math problem-based learning Based on the results learning that done with the use of classical learning methods (lectures and assignments) students mathematics learning outcomes are still far from expectations. This is suspected because the students simply passive during lessons teachers dominate the way pembleajaran. And also students are only required to memorize concepts without knowing where it was obtained. Making the assumption that students have the math is hard. This makes researchers take action to implement problem based learning model as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics. The objective of research conducted on the SDN Ngetos III Nganjuk namely describing the application of problem-based learning model on the learning of mathematics in Grade V SDN Ngetos III Nganjuk describe the application of problem-based learning model for improving processes and outcomes and to improve rational thinking skills can improve the process and mathematics learning outcomes in Grade V SDN Ngetos III Nganjuk. The result showed that the application of problem-based learning model can improve student learning outcomes and develop mathematical skills as expected in the Education Unit Level Curriculum (SBC). These skills as students accustomed to working with others listen actively ask questions answer questions or express opinions and creative in solving problems. Implementation of problem based learning can improve student learning outcomes. Improving student learning outcomes increased from an average value of the class cycle I and cycle II 68.6 85. Mastery learning classes increased from 13 students to the conventional model to model problem-based learning with a contextual approach to 17 students in second cycle. Increased student activity also occurred after application of problem-based learning. Activeness of students work together communicate question could be developed. It can be seen from the observation of student activity score increased in the first cycle 75 second cycle to be 83.3. From these results it can be said that the study of mathematics to model problem-based learning can improve student learning outcomes and student activities during learning. This is evident from the increase in the average value of classical class and exhaustiveness. The variation of the teachers in delivering learning materials is necessary in order to improve student learning outcomes.
