Key words social and emotional ability fun cooking model game kindergarten students 12288 12288 12288 12288 The social and emotional ability of Group A1 students at ABA 10 Kindergarten is still in the stage where they have difficulty in cooperating with the other members of the group in a group game activity. Six out of 15 students are having hard time to work together with their group members. There are two students who keep quiet while watching their friends building castles out of blocks. Four other students have not developed ability to appreciate others work by destroying their friends castle blocks. 12288 12288 12288 12288 The statements of the problem of the research are (1) How is fun cooking model game implemented to improve social and emotional ability of Group A1 students at ABA 10 Kindergarten Malang (2) Can fun cooking model game improve social and emotional ability of Group A1 students at ABA 10 Kindergarten Malang 12288 12288 12288 12288 The research is designed using Classroom Activity Research that is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle is conducted in four stages planning action observation and reflection. The subjects of the research are students of Group A1 at ABA 10 Kindergarten Malang. The data are collected by using observation and documentation techniques. The instrument of the research uses observation and documentation sheet. Data analysis is done with qualitative descriptive and quantitative measures. 12288 12288 12288 12288 After the execution of the plan it is found out that social and emotional ability of the students in Cycle I which reaches 76% and shows a good achievement improves up to 13% becoming 89% in Cycle II with an excellent achievement. There are 9 students showing social and emotional ability improvement in Cycle I. The number then increases to 13 students in Cycle II. It is concluded that the implementation on fun cooking model game can enhance students social and emotional ability. It is suggested for the institution to include in their learning sessions game activities that directly engage many students as in fun cooking game. It is advised for teachers and further research to use different theme and food ingredients which are safe for students.
