Keywords learning natural science TGT model 12288 12288 12288 12288 Based on the observations made 8203 8203 on natural science learning in fourth grade students of State Elementary School of Pesantren 2 Kediri it s found that some problems occurred in the class (1) the learning process was centralized on the teachers that lead to the conventional lecturing method (2) the learning process made the students passive because they only listened took notes and did the exercises (3) the use of learning media was not optimized. Those problems made the learning process less interesting for the students. Based on these facts this research was conducted that aimed at improving the quality of natural science learning in the fourth grade students of State Elementary School of Pesantren 2 Kediri that covered the implementation of learning methods student activities and students learning outcomes using Teams Games Tournament model. 12288 12288 12288 12288 The approach used in this study was a qualitative approach while the research type used was the Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted collaboratively between the researcher and the teachers. The study was conducted in two cycles of which consists of 4 stages namely planning implementation observation and reflection. The instruments used were the individual test sheets group worksheets observation guidelines field notes and documentation while the data analysis used was the descriptive qualitative analysis. The study results showed an increase in the students activities and learning outcomes of natural science after the implementation of Teams Games Tournament model in Grade IV students of State Elementary School of Pesantren 2 Kediri. The students activities in the cycle I achieved classic clearance percentage for 56.52 % and in cycle II increased by 78.26 %. The students learning outcomes also showed an increase the students learning outcomes in cycle I achieved classic clearance percentage for 34.78 % whereas in cycle II it reached 78.26 %. This increase indicated that the learning was completed because it reached more than 70 %. Based on the results it can be concluded that the implementation of Teams Games Tournament learning model on natural science learning in the fourth grade students of State Elementary School of Pesantren 2 Kediri was successfully conducted and could improve the quality of natural science learning in the fourth grade students of State Elementary School of Pesantren 2 Kediri
