Key Words problems inclusive education primary school 12288 12288 12288 12288 Education has advanced recently and branched out to many sectors one of which is inclusive education that provides rooms for children with special needs to experience better education. The implementation of the inclusive education in Indonesia is under the regulation of Permendiknas 70 year 2009. Moreover SDN Kebonsari 2 is the first state primary school which implemented the inclusive education in the subdistrict of Sukun. However the school realized that problems happened in the process of implementation of inclusive education which led to the need of discussion towards the problem. 12288 12288 12288 12288 This research was aimed at describing the implementation of the inclusive education problems happened within and the attempts to solve the problems happened at SDN Kebonsari 2. 12288 12288 12288 12288 In order to achieve the aim of the research the researcher employed qualititative research of case study method. The data were collected using some instruments which include observation interviews and researcher s documentations as the primary instrument. The data were analyzed by reducing the data presenting the data and inferring the conclusion of he research. To examine the validity of the findings of the research the researcher employed some validity checks involving credibility dependabality and confirmability check. 12288 12288 12288 12288 According to the research the implementation of the inclusive education in the school was guided by the Education Department of Malang. Besides the problems faced while implementing the inclusive education were as follows 1) parents of students with special needs did not honestly describe their children s special need to the school committee 2) some parents even begged the school s committee to allow their children to learn in the school 3) the number of teachers for the children with special needs were limited and 4) the students with special needs had the ability level which could not get along with the class average. To overcome the problems some attempts were done which were 1) suggesting the parents to provide shadow teachers 2) socializing and advicing parents to take their children to special schools (SLB) or joining therapies 3) having grouped the students into two groups by the existing teachers and 4) adjusting the materials accordingto the students capability disregarding the level. According to the findings suggestions were addressed to the Education Department of Malang to regularly provide training and evaluation to the implementation of inclusive education. Additionally it was suggested to the principles to create regulations of increasing the number of the special teachers and the student admittance as well. Finally for teachers especially the special teachers were suggested to keep improving the interesting methods in teaching
