Abstrak
Mufidda Lailis Ilfinna. 2014. Correlation of Early Age Child s Cognitive and Language Developments in TK IT Insan Kamil Malang. Study Program of Teaching Education of Early Age Child Education in State University of Malang. Advisors (1) Drs. I Wayan Sutama M.Pd. (2) Drs. Ir. Endro Wahyuno M. Si. Key Words cognitive development language development 12288 12288 12288 12288 Commonly children are prepared to study in early age child education. By following learning process in early age child education the children s development especially cognitive and language developments are expected to be optimally developed so that children will have been ready when they enter elementary school later. In addition cognitive development influences language development and vice versa. This research aims at describing (1) early age child s cognitive development in TK IT Insan Kamil Malang (2) early age child s language development in TK IT Insan Kamil Malang (3) correlation of early age child s cognitive and language developments in TK IT Insan Kamil Malang. This research used quantitative approach with correlational descriptive design. The research populations were all early age children of group A and group B in TK IT Insan Kamil they were 40 children. This research used all populations as research subject. Data collecting technique was by using decumentation. Documentation technique was used for both variables. Instrument used in this research was document sheet got from teacher assessment main book. Hypothesis test was conducted by using product moment correlation. The research results were (1) the early age child s cognitive development in TK IT Insan kamil Malang was good (2) early age child s language development was good enough (3) there was positive correlation of early age child s cognitive and language developments in TK IT Insan Kamil Malang. The teachers in TK IT Insan Kamil are recommended to pay attention more to the children s development aspects especially cognitive and language developments and for future research it is expected to complete researches of cognitive and language developments with other research perspectives and methods.
