Abstrak
The result of observations in fifth grade students at SDN Turi 1 Blitar it is known that the teachers didn t give more knowledge about writing skills on narrative essay materials. Based on the observation of the average value of writing narative essay materials on stage behaviour is 30. The results of the study increased with the application of storytelling in learning card media. The mean score obtained in the first cycle at 77 with a percentage of 22%. Cycle II mean score obtained is 85 with a percentage of 23%
