Peningkatan hasil belajar tema indahnya keragaman di negeriku melalui model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada siswa kelas IV SDN Wonorejo 01 Kabupaten Blitar / Citra Suminar

ABSTRACT Suminar Citra. 2017. Improvement Learning Outcomes On The Theme Beauty of Diversity in My Country Through Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model towards Grade Four Students of SDN Wonorejo 01 Kabupaten Blitar. Thesis. Primary and Preschool Education Department Faculty of Education State University of Malang. Advisors (1) Dra. Widayati M.H (2) Dra. Tri Murti S.Pd M.Pd. Keywords Learning Model Problem Based Learning Learning result Beauty of Diversity in My Country Observation result done by the researcher on fourth grader students of SDN Wonorejo 01 Kabupaten Blitar shows that (1) teacher use assignment method not properly efficient and centered on one place (2) students are not actively involved in learning process some will make noise and play with their friends (3) learning result of the students only 10 of 25 students (40%) who could reach KKM (Minimum Passing Criteria). This research aim to describe implementation of Problem Based Learning Model and improvement learning through Problem Based Learning Model s student on the theme Beauty of Diversity in My Country. This research use qualitative approach and class action reseach as a type of reseach. And was done by two cycle with step (1) planning (2) execution (3) observation and (4) reflection. Collection data technique was done with interview observation field s note documentation and test. Analyzing data technique used were data reduction data presentation and conclusion. Learning result shows that implementation of PBL model was done very well by the teachers and the students. The students show entusiast in every learning activity. Teachers activity percentage are 80% and become 98% in cycle II. In cycle I attitude get 3 modus value with good criteria and in cylce II get 4 modus value with very good criteria. Skill in cycle I and II reach 4 optimum value by criteria very good. Observation result of students activity in cycle I reach 76% percentage as adequate category and increase to 87% with very good category in cycle 2. Learning result of the students increase from average 64 and passing class at 40% before the implementation become 74 4 and passing class at 72% in cycle 1 and increase again in cycle 2 at average 81 2 and passing percentage at 88%. The conclusion are implementation of Problem Based Learning model by theme The Beauty of Diversity in My Country could increase activity of teacher and students also the learning result of the students. By this teachers are suggested to adjust this learning model which involving student actively as PBL students are more active in learning activity and for the next researchers will be better to use media do monitoring give the students chance to deliver their opinion also give an intensive guidance for the students who are not achieve KKM value yet so the activity and learning result of the students could be more optimum.
