Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran matematika materi pecahan melalui model quantum teaching pada kelas V SDN 1 Gandusari Kabupaten Trenggalek / Ari Wibowo Hadi Saputro

ABSTRACT Saputro Ari Wibowo Hadi 2017 Improvement Mathematics Students Achievement on Fractions Chapter through Quantum Teaching Model on Fifth Grade SDN 1 Gandusari Trenggalek Regency Thesis Elementary School Education and Pre-School Faculty of Education University State of Malang Advisor (I) Prof. Dr. H. M. Zainuddin M.Pd (II) Dra. Lilik Bintartik M.Pd. Keyword Mathematics Achievement Quantum Teaching Model Based on the result of early observation that held on fifth grade SDN 1 Gandusari Trenggalek regency (1) Teacher use lecturing method to convey the materials (2) when the teacher explain materials about fractions there is some of the students are noisy. (3) when teacher give example of the question students are enthusiatst to give attention on the board. (4) teacher don t use media on teaching fractions chapter (5) teacher conduct examination and many students still get fail when doing addition by different denominator and (6) many students get score under KKM (standart criteria of succes). The purpose of this research to describe application of quantum teaching model and progress of mathematic students achievement on fifth grade SDN 1 Gandusari Trenggalek through Quantum Teaching Model. Approach that used on this research is qualitative approach that belong to classroom action research. Research held on several cycle. Each cycle include of 2 meeting that are planning implementing observing reflecting. The result of the research appiled quantum teaching model on mathematic learning on adding fractions can run well and having a progress. On the cycle 1 mean of teacher activity 88 46% with good category being 100% with excelent category on the cycle II. The score of the students 87 16% with good category on the cycle II being 99 01% with excelent category. Meanwhile mean of students achievement on pre-action/preliminary is about 64 47 with 33 33% completeness (very less). On the cycle I mean of students achievement increase being 81 22% with 86 67% completeness (good). And in cycle II the students achievement increased being 100 with 100% completeness (very good). It can be conclude that the application of quantum teaching model applied very well by teachers and students can increase the students achievement and completeness of classical study in mathematics material fractions on fifth grade SDN 1 Gandusari Trenggalek Regency. Therefore suggested to the teacher to try this quantum teaching model on the others materials that appropriate on even on the other subject that suitable.
