Abstrak
ABSTRAK Prasetya Yoga. 2017. Pengembangan Buku Penunjang Materi Kuliah Apresiasi Cerpen untuk Penanaman Nilai Karakter Mahasiswa PBSI . Kata Kunci pengembangan buku penunjang apresiasi cerpen nilai karakter mahasiswa Perkuliahan apresiasi sastra khususnya pada materi apresiasi cerpen dapat dioptimalkan dengan adanya bahan ajar apresiasi cerpen. Bahan ajar tersebut bertujuan untuk membantu dosen dalam melaksanakan kegiatan perkuliahan sehingga tercipta suasana yang memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk belajar. Berdasarkan studi pustaka dan studi lapangan yang dilakukan peneliti bahan ajar apresiasi cerpen untuk mahasiswa belum ada. Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah (1) menghasilkan produk berupa buku penunjang materi kuliah apresiasi cerpen yang memenuhi aspek kelayakan isi penyajian kebahasaan dan tampilan serta (2) mendeskripsikan hasil uji keefektifan buku penunjang materi kuliah apresiasi cerpen berdasarkan hasil uji coba di lapangan. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini mengadaptasi model pengembangan Dick dan Carey yang meliputi (1) menganalisis kebutuhan untuk mengidentifikasi tujuan (2) menganalis pembelajaran (3) menganalisis pebelajar dan konteksnya (4) menuliskan tujuan unjuk kerja (5) mengembangkan instrumen penilaian (6) mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran (7) mengembangkan dan memilih bahan pembelajaran (8) merancang dan melaksanakan evaluasi formatif (9) merevisi pembelajaran dan (10) merancang dan melaksanakan evaluasi sumatif (Dick Carey dan Carey 2001). Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui angket dan instrumen wawancara. Angket dan instrumen wawancara digunakan untuk mendapatkan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data-data tersebut didapat dari hasil angket validasi ahli cerpen validasi ahli pembelajaran apresiasi cerpen dan validasi ahli desain bahan ajar. Data juga didapat dari hasil uji coba lapangan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk hasil validasi adalah perhitungan rata-rata. Rata-rata diperoleh atau dihitung dengan cara menjumlah seluruh skor perolehan dan membaginya dengan jumlah subjek atau jumlah skor. Untuk mengetahui tingkat validasi produk yang sudah dikembangkan dilakukan perhitungan persentase sehingga dapat disimpulkan tingkat validasi sesuai nilai yang terdapat pada skala likert dengan rentang kategori 1 5. Produk yang telah dikembangkan berupa buku penunjang materi kuliah apresiasi cerpen. Hasil validasi produk buku penunjang ini dibagi menjadi empat aspek yaitu (1) isi (2) penyajian (3) kebahasaan dan (4) tampilan. Kelayakan isi buku penunjang dari ahli cerpen mendapatkan persentase 80% sehingga layak dan siap diimplementasikan. Kelayakan isi buku penunjang dari ahli pembelajaran apresiasi cerpen mendapatkan persentase 89 75% sehingga sangat layak dan siap diimplementasikan. Kelayakan isi buku penunjang dari mahasiswa mendapatkan persentase 88 95% sehingga sangat layak dan siap diimplementasikan. Kelayakan penyajian buku penunjang dari ahli cerpen mendapatkan persentase 65% sehingga cukup layak dan perlu direvisi. Kelayakan penyajian buku penunjang dari ahli pembelajaran apresiasi cerpen mendapatkan persentase 92 5% sehingga sangat layak dan dapat diimplementasikan. Kelayakan penyajian buku penunjang dari mahasiswa mendapatkan persentase kelayakan 92 03% sehingga sangat layak dan dapat diimplementasikan. Kelayakan kebahasaan buku penunjang dari ahli cerpen mendapatkan persentase 75 55% sehingga layak dan siap diimplementasikan. Kelayakan kebahasaan buku penunjang dari ahli pembelajaran apresiasi cerpen mendapatkan persentase 91 11% sehingga sangat layak dan siap diimplementasikan. Kelayakan kebahasaan buku penunjang dari mahasiswa mendapatkan persentase 92 34% sehingga sangat layak dan siap diimplementasikan. Kelayakan tampilan dari ahli desain bahan ajar menunjukkan persentase 66 25% sehingga cukup layak dan perlu direvisi. Kelayakan tampilan dari mahasiswa mencapai persentase 90% sehingga sangat layak dan siap diimplementasikan. Uji keefektifan produk dilakukan dengan melihat hasil pretes dan postes. Rata-rata hasil pretes sebesar 37 81 sedangkan rata-rata postes siswa 70. Untuk mengetahui normalitas data pada saat uji keefektifan menggunakan Anderson-Darling Test dengan taraf signifikansi pretes 0 095 dan postes 0 278 sehingga data dapat dikatakan berdistribusi normal karena lebih besar dari 0 05. Hasil uji t (paired sample test) antara pretes dan postes memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan yaitu -50 26 dengan taraf signifikansi 0 000 kurang dari 0 05. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk yang telah dikembangkan dapat dikatakan efektif. Berdasarkan hasil validasi tersebut produk yang telah dikembangkan dapat dimanfaatkan oleh dosen dalam mengajarkan materi kuliah apresiasi cerpen. Selain itu mahasiswa dapat memanfaatkan buku ini sebagai buku penunjang untuk mengapresiasi cerpen. Hal tersebut karena teori contoh dan latihan dalam buku ini sesuai dengan teori apresiasi cerpen. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam buku penunjang ini hanya terbatas pada pendekatan objektif ekspresif dan mimetik. Dengan demikian diperlukan penelitian dan pengembangan lebih lanjut khususnya pada pendekatan pragmatik. Selain itu nilai karakter yang ditanamkan dalam buku penunjang ini masih terbatas pada nilai karakter kemanusiaan cinta tanah air dan kebudayaan. ABSTRACT Prasetya Yoga. 2017. Key words development of complement book short stories appreciation students character values The literature appreciation course particularly on short stories appreciation can be optimized by providing sufficient teaching material for short stories appreciation course. It aims to assist the lecturer in the lecturing process in order to create suitable atmosphere for learning. Based on the literature review and field study that had been conducted by the researcher the teaching material of short stories appreciation is not available yet. The purpose of the research and development can be define as (1) to produce complement book material for short stories appreciation course that satisfied some aspects in the term of content presentation linguistic and display as well as (2) to describe the effectiveness result of the complement book of short stories appreciation course based on the field trials. This research was adapting the research model of Research and Development by Dick and Carey which includes (1) assess needs to identify goal(s) (2) conduct instructional analysis (3) analyze learners and contexts (4) write performance objectives (5) develop assessment instruments (6) develop instructional strategy (7) develop and select instructional materials (8) design and conduct tbe formative evaluation of instruction (9) revise instruction and (10) design and conduct summative evaluation (Dick Carey dan Carey 2001). Questionnaire and interview are chosen to collect the data. They were used to collect the quantitative and qualitative data. The data were obtained from the validation questionnaire of short stories expert short stories appreciation expert and material design expert. The data also taken from trying out the product. The data analysis being used was average score it tent to measure the validity. The average score was obtained by adding total score and then divide it by the number of subject or by the total score. Then percentage calculation should be done in order to know the product validity level. From the calculation it can be concluded that the validation level in accordance with the Likert scale that range in to 1 up to 5 categories. The product that had been developed was a complement book of short stories appreciation course. The result of the product validation then divided into four aspects such as (1) content (2) presentation (3) linguistic and (4) display. The short stories expert gave 80% for its content appropriateness thus the book would be appropriate and could be soon implemented in the learning process. The short stories appreciation expert gave 89.75% for its content appropriateness thus the book would be very appropriate and already prepared to be implemented in the learning process. The students gave 88.95% for its content appropriateness thus the book would be appropriate and could be soon implemented. The short stories expert gave 65% for its presentation and made it would be pretty appropriate to be implemented though it needed some revision. The short stories appreciation expert gave 92.5% for its presentation thus it would be very appropriate and could be soon implemented. Meanwhile the students gave 92.03% for its presentation thus it would be very appropriate and could be soon implemented. The short stories expert gave 75.55% for its linguistic thus it would be appropriate and could be soon implemented. The short stories appreciation expert gave 91.11% for its linguistic thus it would be very appropriate and could be soon implemented. Meanwhile the students gave 92.34% for its linguistic thus it would be very appropriate and could be soon implemented. The material design expert gave 66.25% for its display and made it would be pretty appropriate to be implemented though it needed some revision. Meanwhile the students gave 90% for its display thus it would be very appropriate and could be soon implemented. The product effectiveness test was done by seeing the pre-test and post-test result. The average score of pre-test is 37.81 while the post-test is 70. Anderson-Darling Test was applied to know the normality of the data due to the effectiveness test. The level of significance of the pre-test was 0.095 and the post-est was 0.278 to some extent the data showed normal distribution since the result was greater than 0.05. The t-test (paired sample test) showed that there was a significant different between pre-test and post-test which was -50.26 with the level of significance 0.000 less than 0.05. In conclusion the product that had been developed was showing effective result. According to the result of the validation the product that has been developed can be utilized by the lecturer in teaching short stories appreciation course. Moreover the students can utilize this book as a complement book to appreciate short stories since the the theory examples and the exercises are compatible with the theory of short stories appreciation. The approaches being used in this complement book are limited to objective approach expressive approach and mimetic approach. Therefore pragmatic approach is needed for the further research and development study. Above all the character values that included in this complement book only focused on the humanitarian character value patriotism value and culture value.
