M.A. Kata Kunci Model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Keterampilan Menulis Cerita Sekolah Dasar Berdasarkan hasil dari observasi di kelas IV SDN Bunulrejo 5 Malang dalam pembelajaran menulis ada 12 siswa yang menulis hasilnya tidak sesuai dengan tema yang ada. Perangkaian kata pada saat menulis karangan sederhana sedikit berantakan. Siswa cenderung mengulang kata lalu setelah kemudian . Penerapan model untuk menumbuhkan ide pada tahap persiapan menulis sangat kurang sehingga siswa sulit untuk menuangkan ide. Berdasar situasi yang ada pembelajaran yang memuat keterampilan menulis perlu diperbaiki dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita yakni model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dalam keterampilan menulis cerita dan peningkatan keterampilan menulis cerita kelas IV SDN Bunulrejo 5 Malang semester II tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dengan menerapkan model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subyek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV SDN Bunulrejo 5 Malang yang berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC)dilakukan dengan lima fase yang dipadukan dengan tahap menulis. Model juga dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita di kelas IV SDN Bunulrejo 5 Malang. Hal tersebut terbukti dari rata-rata hasil keterampilan menulis pada pratindakan 67 93 siklus I 73 89 siklus II 88 15. Presentase ketuntasan klasikal siswa dari pratindakanyaitu 37% darisiklus I yaitu 59% dandarisiklus II yaitu 89%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita di kelas IV SDN Bunulrejo 5 Malang. Saran yang bisa diberikan berdasarkan penelitian ini yaitu ketika gurumenerapkan model pembelajaranCooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) maka guru harus memperhatikan seluruh langkah-langkah yang ada pada model. The implementation of models to foster ideas at the writing preparation stage is lacking so students find it difficult to pour ideas. Based on the existing situation learning that includes writing skills needs to be improved by applying the learning model. One of the learning models that can improve story writing skills is Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model. This research was conducted in order to describe the implementation of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model in story writing skill and improvement of writing skill of class IV SDN Bunulrejo 5 Malang in second semester of academic year 2016/2017 by applying Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) . This research used a classroom action research design (PTK). The subjects of this research are students of grade IV SDN Bunulrejo 5 Malang amounting to 30 people. The results showed that the implementation of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model was conducted with five phases combined with writing stage. The model can also improve the skills of story writing in the fourth grade of SDN Bunulrejo 5 Malang. This is evident from the average results of writing skills on pratindakan 67.93 cycle I 73.89 cycle II 88.15. Student classical completeness percentage of pratindakan that is 37% from cycle I that is 59% and from cycle II that is 89%. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the implementation of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model can improve story writing skill in class IV SDN Bunulrejo 5 Malang. Suggestions that can be given based on this research is that when teachers apply Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model then the teacher should pay attention to all steps that exist in the model. Teachers should be able to guide students in performing every activity that exists in each phase.
