Ph.D. Kata Kunci Pembelajaran Kooperatif Student Team Achievement Division Hasil Belajar Matematika Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan kurang lebih selama satu minggu pada tanggal 19-27 September 2016 diketahui bahwa permasalahan yang ada di kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Batu khususnya di kelas X MIA 2 adalah rendahnya hasil belajar matematika. Hal ini dikarenakan pembelajaran matematika yang dilaksanakan cenderung secara konvensional (ceramah) yang berpusat pada guru. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dilaksanakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Team Achievement Division). Dalam pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terdapat 5 tahap yaitu (1) presentasi kelas (2) diskusi kelompok (3) kuis (4) penghitungan poin peningkatan individual dan (5) penghargaan kelompok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas X MIA 2 di SMA Negeri 2 Batu pada materi fungsi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus (Siklus I dan Siklus II). Siklus I dilaksanakan pada tanggal 18 Oktober s.d 7 November 2016 sedangkan siklus II dilaksanakan pada tanggal 8 s.d 15 November 2016. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X MIA 2 di SMA Negeri 2 Batu pada tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini meliputi 1) hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran 2) hasil catatan lapangan 3) hasil unjuk kerja pada LKPD 4) hasil kuis dan 5) hasil tes akhir siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada materi fungsi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan hasil unjuk kerja LKPD dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 7 37% hasil kuis dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 43 31% hasil tes akhir dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 61 29% serta hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan peserta didik yang berada pada kategori sangat baik. Ph.D. Keywords Cooperative Learning Student Team Achievement Division Mathematics Learning Outcomes Based on the observation result that have conducted approximately one week on 19-27 September 2016 given the problem that exists in the class X of SMA Negeri 2 Batu particularly in the class X MIA 2 is the low of mathematics learning outcomes. This is because the mathematics instruction have tended conventionally (lecture) which is centered to the teacher. To solve that problem it will be conducted an instruction by using cooperative learning model type of STAD (Student Team Achievement Division). In cooperative learning with the type of STAD there are 5 stages i.e. (1) class presentation (2) group discussion (3) quiz (4) calculation of individual points increase and (5) group awards. This research used a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research. The purpose of this research to describe the steps of cooperative learning with the type of STAD that can enhance mathematics learning outcomes of student class X MIA 2 in SMA Negeri 2 Batu for the material of function. This research was conducted in two cycles (cycle I and cycle II). The first cycle was conducted on 18 October until 7 November 2016 while the last cycle was conducted on 8 until 15 November 2016. The research subjects are the students of class X MIA 2 in SMA Negeri 2 Batu on the school year 2016/2017. Data which are collected in this research include 1) the observation results of teacher and students activities during the learning process 2) the results of field notes 3) the results of performance on LKPD 4) the results of quiz and 5) the results of final test in the end of cycle. The research results show that with the implementation of cooperative learning model type of STAD for the material of function can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of the students. This can be demonstrated by performance improvement result on LKPD from cycle I to cycle II at 7 37% the result of quiz from cycle I to cycle II at 43 31% the result of final test in the end of cycle from cycle I to cycle II at 61 29% also the observation result of teacher and students activities which are in very good category.
