Kata Kunci pra laboratorium kimia introduction to chemistry laboratory practice (ICLaP) Materi pra laboratorium merupakan materi dasar yang harus dipelajarari secara mendetil oleh siswa. Faktanya materi ini hanya dibelajarkan secara singkat pihak sekolah sering beralasan bahwa pembelajaran pra laboratorium akan mengurangi jam pelajaran regular. Berkaitan dengan itu maka perlu adanya media yang mampu mengatasi keterbatasan pembelajaran materi pra laboratorium. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangan media mobile learning berbasis android sebagai bahan penunjang dalam proses pembelajaran praktikum kimia. Selain itu juga bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kelayakan produk. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada prosedur penelitian pengembangan dari Borg and Gall yang dimodifikasi dengan penyesuaian kebutuhan dan tujuan penelitian. Adapun langkah-langkah penelitian ini adalah (1) analisis kebutuhan (2) desain produk (3) pengembangan produk (4) uji ahli (5) revisi 1 (6) uji lapangan (7) revisi 2 dan (8) produk akhir. Subjek uji coba adalah siswa kelas X MIA 3 SMAN 01 Ngantang. Data yang diperoleh berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari angket skor penilaian oleh para ahli media ahli materi guru dan siswa. Sedangkan data kualitatif berupa komentar dan saran perbaikan dari ahli media dan ahli materi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara observasi dan angket skor penilaian. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Produk yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini berupa aplikasi m-learning dengan materi pra-laboratorium yang diberi nama Introduction to Chemistry Laboratory Practice (ICLaP). Aplikasi ini terdiri dari sembilan komponen penting yaitu (1) petunjuk penggunaan media (2) deskripsi media (3) karakteristik bahan kimia (4) deskripsi alat (5) keterampilan dasar laboratorium (6) aturan kerja laboratorium (7) keamanan kerja di laboratorium (8) pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan (P3K) dan (9) latihan soal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dari ahli materi ahli media dan uji lapangan maka diperoleh tingkat validitas dalam persentase sebagai berikut ahli media memberi penilaian 95% ahli materi memberi penilaian 82% guru memberi penilaian 87 5%. Uji keterterapan oleh siswa memberikan penilaian 91%. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa media m-learning berbasis android valid atau layak diaplikasikan dalam pembelajaran dengan persentase rata-rata kelayakan sebesar 89%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian peneliti menyarankan agar menerapkan media aplikasi ICLaP berbasis android sebagai bahan ajar pendukung dalam proses pembelajaran kimia materi pra-laboratorium. Keywords pre-chemistry laboratory introduction to chemistry laboratory practice (ICLaP) Pre-laboratory material is the basic material that students must study in detail. In fact this material is only briefly learned the school is often reasoned that pre-laboratory study will reduce the regular lesson. In this regard it is necessary to have a media capable of overcoming the problem. This study aims to develop android-based m-learning media as a supporting material in the learning process in the laboratory for 10th grader. In addition the studyalso aims to describe the level of product quality. This research uses research and development method which refers to the research and development procedure of Borg and Gall which is modified by adjustment to the needs and objectives of the research. The steps of this research are (1) needs analysis (2) product design (3) product development (4) expert test (5) revision 1 (6) field test (7) revision 2 and (8) the final product. The subjects of the study were students of class X MIA 3 SMAN 01 Ngantang. The data obtained in the form of quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data were obtained from questionnaire scoring by media experts material experts teachers and students. While qualitative data is in the form of comments and suggestions of improvement from media experts and material experts. Data collection using interview technique observation and questionnaire scoring. Data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The product of this research is m-learning application with pre-laboratory material called Introduction to Chemistry Laboratory Practice (ICLaP). The application consists of nine essential components namely (1) instructions for media usage (2) media description (3) chemical characteristics (4) tool description (5) basic laboratory skills (6) laboratory rules 7) job security in laboratory (8) first aid in accident (P3K) and (9) practice questions. Based on the results of data analysis from the material experts media experts and field test the results obtained validity audience with each percentage as follows media experts scored 95% material experts gave an assessment of 82% teachers rated 87.5% and students Rated 91%. The result of data analysis shows that the m-learning media based on android is valid or feasible to be applied in learning with the average percentage of feasibility 89%. Based on the results of the research researchers suggest that applying ICLaP-based application media android as a supporting material in the process of learning chemistry of pre-laboratory materials.
