Abstrak
ABSTRAK Sari Ifit Novita. 2017 Kepemimpinan Moral-Spiritual Guru dalam Pembentukan Karakter Peserta Didik. (Studi Multikasus di Sekolah Dasar Plus Al Kautsar Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kauman I dan Sekolah Dasar Katolik Santa Maria II di kota Malang). Kata kunci kepemimpinan moral-spiritual guru pembentukan karakter sekolah dasar peserta didik Krisis moral yang terjadi saat ini merupakan efek dari globalisasi yang demikian cepat. Krisis terjadi di berbagai bidang mulai bidang ekonomi politik sosial budaya dan moral termasuk bidang pendidikan. Sekolah sebagai salah satu sarana terjadinya transfer ilmu dan budaya pada peserta didik menjadi bagian penting dalam rangka perbaikan moral anak bangsa. Guru sebagai agent of change sangat dibutuhkan perannya untuk mensukseskan program pendidikan karakter di sekolah. Fokus penelitian ini adalah menitikberatkan pada kepemimpinan moral-spiritual guru. Secara rinci fokus penelitian ini membahas tentang (1) karakteristik kepemimpinan moral-spiritual guru dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik (2) nilai-nilai karakter yang dibentuk pada peserta didik (3) proses kepemimpinan moral-spiritual guru dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik (4) hasil kepemimpinan moral-spiritual guru dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik dan (5) dampak kepemimpinan moral-spiritual guru pada karakter peserta didik. Pada penelitian ini digunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis rancangan studi multi kasus dengan desain komparatif. Lokasi penelitian di tiga sekolah dasar di Kota Malang yaitu (1) SD Plus Al Kautsar (2) SDN Kauman 1 dan (3) SDK Santa Maria II. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi peran serta wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan dua tahap pertama dengan analisis kasus individual dengan model alir dan kedua analisis data lintas kasus dengan komparasi konstan antar kasus. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan teknik credibility transferability dependability dan conformability. Berdasarkan hasil pengumpulan dan analisis data diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut (1) karakteristik kepemimpinan moral-spiritual guru (a) menghargai keberadaan anak (b) religius (c) cerdas SQ dan EQ (d) jujur amanah ikhlas dan disiplin (e) loyalitas tinggi (f) keterbukaan menerima perubahan (g) profe-sional dan (h) memberikan pengalaman belajar pada peserta didik (2) nilai-nilai karakter yang dibentuk pada peserta didik (a) nilai karakter religius (b) nilai karakter yang berhubungan dengan pribadi (c) nilai karakter yang berhubungan dengan sesama (d) nilai karakter yang berhubungan dengan lingkungan dan (e) nilai kebangsaan (3) proses kepemimpinan moral-spiritual guru dalam pem-bentukan karakter peserta didik (a) budaya sekolah yang sudah menjadi ciri khas (b) pembiasaan yang mengandung karakter (c) selalu mendampingi peserta didik dalam setiap kegiatan dan (d) menjadi mediator (4) hasil dari kepemimpinan moral-spiritual guru dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik (a) humanis (b) spiritual dan (c) memiliki asertif terhadap pengaruh lingkungan luar yang kurang baik dan (5) dampak kepemimpinan moral-spiritual guru pada karakter peserta didik (a) peserta didik memiliki karakter moral-spiritual dan (b) peserta didik memiliki karakter baik yang menjadi identitas kepribadiannya. Saran dan rekomendasi diberikan kepada (1) Kepala SD Plus Al Kautsar SDN Kauman 1 dan SDK Santa Maria II karakteristik kepemimpinan moral-spiritual guru baik untuk dijadikan salah satu syarat guru dalam mendidik karena dapat berpengaruh pada kepatuhan peserta didik (2) Dinas Pendidikan Kota Malang karakteristik kepemimpinan moral-spiritual guru perlu disosialisasikan pada guru perlu mewajibkan seluruh guru sekolah dasar di lingkungan Kota Malang untuk memiliki karakter kepemimpinan yang moralis dan spiritualis dan memberikan penghargaan kepada sekolah dan guru yang memiliki peserta didik berkarakter dan berprestasi (3) penyelenggara pendidikan pada saat rekrutmen tenaga pendidik maupun tenaga kependidikan perlu fit and proper test yang mendalam agar diperoleh SDM sesuai dengan visi dan misi sekolah (4) LPTK perlu peninjauan kurikulum khususnya mengenai profesi keguruan hendaknya disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pasar terkini agar lulusan yang dihasilkan dapat langsung digunakan di dunia pendidikan sebagai tenaga pengajar yang religius berkarakter terampil handal dan tidak gagap teknologi menambah keahlian lain seperti soft skills yang tidak bisa dipelajari tetapi ditanamkan sejak awal ketika menjadi mahasiswa baru sehingga lulusannya mempunyai nilai sikap yang baik di dunia kerja dan (5) para peneliti patut diteliti lebih lanjut tentang kepemimpinan guru yang masih belum sepopuler kepemimpinan kepala sekolah karena banyak pendapat mengatakan jika kepemimpinan itu hanya dimiliki oleh pemimpin/kepala sekolah hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan pertimbangan sebagai referensi untuk penelitian pada kasus-kasus sejenis maupun yang berbeda tetapi fokusnya tetap pada kepemimpinan guru. As the consequence the crisis occurs in various segments ranging from economic political social cultural and moral to education. As the place to transfer of science and culture to the students school becomes a vital factor in moral improvement of the people and the role of the teachers as the agent of change is required to implement character education at schools. This study focuses on moral-spiritual leadership of the teachers in detail (1) the characteristics of moral-spiritual leadership of the teachers in the character building of the students (2) the values of characters instilled to the students (3) the process of moral-spiritual leadership of the teachers in character building of the students (4) the outcomes of moral-spiritual leadership of the teachers in character building of the students and (5) the impact of moral-spiritual leadership of the teachers on the character of the students. This is multiple case studies with comparative design through qualitative phenomenological approach. The study was conducted in three elementary schools in City of Malang namely Islamic Primary School of Al-Kautsar Public Primary School of Kauman 1 and Catholic Primary School of Santa Maria II. Data were obtained through observation in-depth interview and documentation to the research participants. Data analysis was performed in two stages first was individual case analysis with flow model and the second was cross-case data analysis with constant comparison of the cases. Data validity is measured in terms of credibility transferability dependability and conformability. Based on the data collection and analysis the following results are obtained (1) the characteristics of moral-spiritual leadership of the teachers include (a) respectful for the existence of children (b) religious (c) spiritual and emotional quotient intelligent (d) honest trustworthy and discipline (e) loyal (f) open in accepting changes (g) professional and (h) be willing to provide learning experiences to the students (2) the values of characters to be instilled to the students are (a) religious character (b) characters related to the personality (c) characters associated with the friendship (d) characters related to the environment and (e) nationality (3) the process of moral-spiritual leadership process of the teachers in the character building to the students include (a) characteristic school culture (b) characteristic habituation (c) accompaniment the students in every activity and (d) becoming a mediator (4) the outcomes of moral-spiritual leadership of the teachers in character building to the students include (a) humanist character (b) spiritual character (c) retention of immoral external influence and (5) the impacts of moral-spiritual leadership of the teachers on the students characters are namely (a) the students have moral-spiritual character and (b) the students have good character that becomes the personal identity of the students. Some suggestions are recommended to the relevant parties including (1) Head of the primary schools to include the characteristic of teacher moral-spiritual leadership as the requirements for the teachers to teach as it may affect the compliance of the teachers (2) Department of Education to make the characteristic of moral-spiritual leadership as one of the criteria of teacher recruitment it is necessary that all primary school teachers have humanist and spiritual leadership characters. In addition to that the government should give reward to the schools and teachers whose the students have good character and achievement (3) education institution to conduct fit and proper test in time of personnel and teacher recruitment in order to obtain proper human resources in accordance with the vision and mission of the schools (4) Education Institute of Teacher Training to review the curriculum especially related to teacher profession which should be adjusted to the current paradigm in order to prepare graduates who are ready to become religious skillful reliable technologically literate teachers with good characters. In addition other soft skills need to be introduced to the students since the early academic year at campus so they have good attitude towards their profession and (5) researchers to examine further the leadership style of the teachers which is not as popular as the leadership of the principals as many interpret that leadership is only related to school principals the results of this study may become the reference for further research on either similar or different cases with the focus remains on teacher s leadership.
