Abstrak
ABSTRAK Khavid Muhammad Nur. 2017. Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Menulis Teks Cerita Ulang Biografi dengan Memanfaatkan Media Pop-up Book Beralur. Kata Kunci pengembangan bahan ajar menulisteks biografi pop-up book Studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan di SMA N 1 Singosari ditemukan bahwa (1) bahan ajar khusus untuk pembelajaran menulis teks cerita ulang biografi belum tersedia (2) kompetensi dasar menulis teks cerita ulang biografi diarahkan pada kegiatan menceritakan kembali isi teks biografi sesuai dengan buku sumber dari pemerintah (3) belum ada pembagian kegiatan pramenulis menulis dan pascamenulis di buku siswa dan (4) siswa lebih termotivasi jika disediakan media baik berupa multimedia maupun media konvensional sebagai rangsangan untuk menulis. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan tersebut dilakukanlah penelitian dan pengembangan produk ini. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini mempunyai dua tujuan yaitu tujuan umum dan tujuan khusus. Tujuan umum penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar menulis teks cerita ulang biografi dengan memanfaatkan media pop-up book beralur. Adapun tujuan khusus penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah pengembangan bahan ajar menulis teks cerita ulang biografi dengan memanfaatkan media pop-up book beralur yang memenuhi aspek deskripsi isi sistematika penyajian kebahasaan serta tampilan. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan langkah pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari langkah penelitian dan pengembangan Borg dan Gall. Adapun langkah-langkah tersebut yaitu (1) studi pendahuluan (2) perencanaan (3) pengembangan (4) validasi produk (5) revisi produk awal (6) uji lapangan dan (7) penyempurnaan produk akhir. Desain uji produk penelitian ini dilakukan melalui empat tahap yaitu dengan (1) ahli penyusunan bahan ajar (2) ahli media (3) praktisi atau guru dan (4) uji lapangan terbatas dengan 10 siswa kelas X IPS B 2016 SMA N 1 Singosari. Jenis data penelitian ini ada dua yaitu data nonverbal yang berupa skor pengisian angket dari uji ahli praktisi serta siswa dan data verbal yang berupa komentar catatan dan saran dari ahli praktisi serta siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini ada dua yaitu pedoman wawancara dan angket. Adapun data dalam penelitian ini berupa data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Penyajian data hasil uji produk kepada ahli penyusunan bahan ajar menunjukkan persentase 90% yang berarti bahwa produk tergolong layak dan dapat diimplementasikan. Penyajian data hasil uji produk kepada ahli media menunjukkan persentase 91 6% yang berarti bahwa produk tergolong layak dan dapat diimplementasikan. Penyajian data hasil uji produkkepada praktisi menunjukkan persentase 89% yang berarti bahwa produk tergolong layak dan dapat diimplementasikan. Penyajian data hasil uji produk kepada siswa menunjukkan persentase 92 5% yang berarti bahwa produk tergolong layak dan dapat diimplementasikan. Simpulan penelitian dan pengembangan bahan ajar ini menunjukkan bahwa produk bahan ajar yang memanfaatkan media pop-up book yang dikembangkan telah layak dan dapat diimplementasikan. Adapun saran pemanfaatan ditujukan kepada guru bahasa Indonesia siswa serta peneliti lain dan penyusun bahan ajar selanjutnya. Guru bahasa Indonesia dapat memanfaatkan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan untuk memberikan latihan yang variatif dan lebih meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dengan belajar menggunakan bahan ajar serta media yang telah dikembangkan. Bagi siswa disarankan untuk terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran menulis teks cerita ulang biografi serta lebih selektif dalam memilih tokoh yang memberikan teladan inspiratif sehingga ketika siswa menulis tokoh tersebut siswa maupun pembaca lain dapat mengambil pelajaran dari kisah inspiratif yang telah ditulis. Saran bagi peneliti lain dan penyusun bahan ajar selanjutnya untuk lebih memerhatikan kebutuhan siswa sehingga produk yang dikembangkan dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Keywords development of teaching material writing biographical text pop-up book Preliminary study which was conducted at SMA N 1 Singosari found that (1) particular teaching material(s) for study of writing biographical text is not yet available (2) during this time basic competence of writing text of biographical story is directed at retelling the contents of biographical text in a accordance with the source book from the government (3) there is no division of pre-writing writing post-writing activity on students book and (4) students are more motivated if they are provided a media either in the form of multimedia or conventional media as a stimulus to write. Based on those preliminary studies the researcher conducts a research and development of this product. This research and development has two objectives those are general objective and specific objective. The general objective of this research and development is to develop teaching material of writing biographical text by utilizing a grooved pop-up book media. The specific objective of this research and development is to describe the steps of developing teaching material to write biographical text by utilizing a grooved pop-up book media that meets aspects of contents description presentation systematic language and appearance. This research and development uses a developmental steps which are adapted from the research and developmental steps of Borg and Gall. The steps are (1) preliminary study (2) planning (3) development (4) product validation (5) revision of initial product (6) field test and (7) final product refinement. Design of product test is conducted through four stages (1) the expert of preparation of teaching material (2) media expert (3) practitioner or teacher (4) limited text with 10 students of class X IPS B 2016 SMA N 1 Singosari. There are two kinds of research data nonverbal data in the form of questionnaire s scores from the expert test practitioner and students. Then verbal data in the form of comments notes and suggestions from the expert practitioner and students. There are two Instrument of data collection in this research they are interview and questionnaire. The data in this study are qualitative data and quantitative data. The presentation of result data from the product test to the expert of preparation of teaching materialshows percentage of 90% which means that the product is quite feasible and can be implemented. The presentation of result data from the product test to media expert shows 91.6% percentage which means that the product is quite feasible and can be implemented. Presentation of result data from the product test to the practitioner shows 89% percentage which means that the product is quote feasible and can be implemented. The presentation of product test result data to the students shows percentage of 92.5% which means that the product is quite feasible and can be implemented. The conclusions of this research and development of teaching material indicates that utilization of pop-up media which has been developed is feasible and can be implemented. The use suggestion is addressed to Indonesian language teachers students as well as other researchers and subsequent teaching material(s) compilers. Indonesian language teacher(s)can utilize teaching material that is developed to provide a variety of exercise and further enhance the students activeness by learning Indonesian language use teaching material and media that have been developed. For students it is advisable to be actively involved in learning to write biographical text as well as to be more selective in choosing a character that gives an inspiring lead so that when students write that character the students and also the other readers can take a lesson from the inspirational story which has been written by themselves. Suggestion for other researchers and also subsequent teaching material(s) compilers for putting more attention to the students needs so that the product which has been developed can reach/achieve the objectives learning.
