Kata Kunci Instrumen Penilaian Penalaran Ilmiah tekanan IPA merupakan ilmu pengetahuan tentang gejala alam yang dibuktikan dengan fakta konsep prinsip dan hukum yang teruji kebenarannya melalui metode ilmiah. Metode ilmiah dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran. Rancangan pembelajaran berdasarkan metode ilmiah dapat mengembangkan kemampuan penalaran ilmiah dan keterampilan ilmiah siswa. Pembelajaran dengan metode ilmiah diharapkan dapat mengembangkan kemampuan bernalar (reasoning abilities) dalam berpikir analisis induktif dan deduktif dengan menggunakan konsep dan prinsip IPA dan menyelesaikan masalah baik secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif. Kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan masalah dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara di salah satu SMP di Kota Malang faktanya guru belum pernah mengukur kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa. Salah satu tes penalaran ilmiah yang dapat digunakan adalah Lawson s Clasroom Test of Scientific Reasoning (LCTSR). Berdasarkan hal tersebut pada penelitian ini akan dikembangkan instrumen penalaran ilmiah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan instrumen penalaran ilmiah tentang tekanan yang valid dan reliabel. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Model yang digunakan adalah model 4D yang dilakukan hanya tiga tahap yaitu pendefinisian perancangan dan pengembangan. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi dan soal penalaran ilmiah. Data didapatkan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif didapatkan berdasarkan persentase hasil validasi dan uji empiris data kualitatif didapatkan dari saran dan komentar oleh validator. Hasil validasi aspek kriteria penalaran ilmiah konstruksi dan bahasa mendapatkan hasil rata-rata sebesar 96 06 % dengan katogori sangat layak. Hasil uji empiris didapatkan sebanyak 44 soal yang valid dan reliabel. Kooefisien reliabilitas butir soal didapatkan sebesar 0 874 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Distribusi jumlah soal kemampuan penalaran ilmiah yang dihasilkan 44 soal dengan indikator penalaran konservasi (13 64%) penalaran pengurutan (18 18%) penalaran proposional (31 81%) penalaran mengontrol variabel (9 09%) penalaran probabilitas (4 54%) penalaran korelasi (9 09%) dan penalaran kombinasi (13 64%). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa pengembangan instrumen penilaian penalaran ilmiah tentang tekanan yang valid dan reliabel. ABSTRACT Fatimah Vita.2017. Scientific method can be implemented in learning. The design of learning based on scientific method can develop students scientific reasoning and scientific skills. Learning by scientific method is expected to develop reasoning abilities in thinking of inductive and deductive analysis by using the concept and principle of science and solving problems well with qualitatively and quantitatively. Students ability to solve problems is influenced by students scientific reasoning abilities. Based on the results of interviews in one junior high school in Malang in fact teacher has not measured the students scientific reasoning abilities. One scientific reasoning test that can be used is Lawson s Clasroom Test of Scientific Reasoning (LCTSR). Based on this the research will be developed scientific reasoning instruments. The purpose of this research is to develop scientific reasoning instruments about pressure that is valid and reliable. The type of this research was research and development. The model used 4D model that performed in three stages definition design and development. Data collection was obtained through validation results by expert assessment instruments and questions test by students. Data that was obtained in research and development was in the form of quantitative data. Data collection was obtained from the validation and trial results of the developed products. The results of reasoning criteria validation of scientific construction and language show the evaluation instrument product that developed was very feasible (96.06%). Empirical test consisted of as 44 multiple choice questions declared valid with reliability of 0.874. The number of questions generated based on the conservation reasoning (13.64%) the sequential reasoning (18.18%) the proportional reasoning (31.81%) the reasoning controlling variables (9.09 %) the probability reasoning (4.54%) the problem correlation (9.09%) and the combinations of reasoning (13.64%). From these results indicated that in this research and development of scientific reasoning skill s instrument on pressure material was valid and reliable.
