Abstrak
ABSTRAK Mukti Dadot E.P.N.K. 2017. Developing Textbooks of Basic Programming for 10th Graders of Computer and Network Engineering Expertise in SMK Negeri 11 Malang. Key words teaching materials basic programming algorithm The textbook is the book used as the standard reference on a particular subject. Its existence becomes important for an educational institution whether licensed by private or government. The importance of the existence of textbooks in supporting the learning process becomes the main factor in making textbooks on Basic Programming subjects. Based on the observations that have been done in SMK Negeri 11 Malang the factors that encourage researchers to develop textbooks is the lack of learning resources in the form of an adequate textbook as a supporter of the implementation of learning. This research and development aims to provide a textbook teaching subjects Basic Programming which consists of student handbooks and teacher handbook. The material developed in this textbook is as follows (1) programming algorithm (2) branching algorithm and (3) recurrence algorithm. This research uses research design from Sugiyono (2011). The reason is used Sugiyono s development model because the steps in Sugiyono s development model in accordance with the objective of the production of textbook products is to test the eligibility of textbooks produced in the process of learning in the classroom. The steps of development according to Sugiyono (2008 297) consists of 10 steps namely (1) potential and problems (2) data collection (3) product design (4) design validation (5) design revision (6) product trial (7) product revision (8) trial usage (9) product revision and (10) mass production. In this research and development data collection instrument used is a questionnaire instrument used as a measurement tool to determine whether the textbook needs revision or proper use and expected feedback in the form of suggestions and inputs for the process of improving textbooks. The resulting product is teaching materials in the form of textbooks that fit the core competencies and basic competencies of Basic Programming subjects for 10th graders of vocational schools Computer and Network Engineering Skills Packages that are in accordance with the 2013 curriculum. The developed textbook is eligible to use. This is supported by the results of individual testing conducted by 2 reviewers who get a percentage of 80% then on a small trial conducted to 10 students get 77% percentage and on field trials in 50 students get the percentage of 86%. After going through the revision and the test results of this Basic Programming textbook can be used for the learning of Primary Programming class 10th grade in semester 1 at SMK Negeri 11 Malang.
