Kata Kunci self-esteem post power syndrome civil servant pensioner Post power syndrome is an occurring condition due to a term of office or authority expiration in which the sufferer is incapable of thinking realistically and cannot accept the fact that he/she is now retired or has quit his/her job. One of the causing factors of post power syndrome is self-esteem. This study aims to discover (1) the description of self-esteem (2) the description of post power syndrome (3) and the relationship between self-esteem and post power syndrome in the case of civil servant pensioners in Boyolangu District Tulungagung Regency. This study uses descriptive quantitative correlational methods with saturated sampling techniques. The subjects in this study were 36 retired civil servants in Boyolangu District. Self esteem was measured using the Rosenberg adaptation scale self esteem scale (RSES) with scale reliability of 0.673 and post power syndrome scale modified by researchers with reliability of 0.958. Data distribution in this study is normally distributed with p 0.207 for self esteem variables and p 0.628 for post power syndrome variables. Both variables has linearity as p 0.042. The results of this research is showing that mostly retired civil servants in Boyolangu District have high self esteem and high post power syndrome. Hypothesis test was Pearson product moment correlation showed a positive relationship between self esteem and post power syndrome with a rxy value of 0.345 and p 0.039 (p
